IN-PUBLIC - THE HOME OF STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
Our aim is to promote Street Photography and to continue to explore its possibilities. All the photographers featured here have been invited to show their work because they have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment. The pictures remind us that, if we let it, over-familiarity can make us blind to what’s really going on in the world around us.
KEN ROCKWELL SITE

This is my personal website. I do it all by myself.

I'm just one guy with a computer who likes to take pictures. I have the playful, immature and creative, trouble-making mind of a seven-year-old, so read accordingly.

This site is purely my personal speech and opinion, and a way for me to goof around. Don't take any of this as true; I like to make things up as much as any other kid.

I don't own the gear you see me talk about. Even if I did own it when I wrote about it, this site has been on-the-air for over ten years, and very little, if any of it, is still here today. Most of the items I write about I've borrowed from friends and have returned, or if I did own them, were given away to freinds, donated to charity, or in the old days, sold.

ADAM BURTON PHOTOGRAPHY

Growing up in the south coast of England, with the New Forest on his doorstep, Adam Burton's photographic interest began with a passion for his unique natural surroundings. This love of the natural world enabled Adam to develop a photographic style which was dedicated to capturing the essence of wild and rural landscapes.

His photographs are instantly recognisable with their rich, vibrant yet natural colours and captivating compositions, each conveying the delicate beauty of the environment in which they are taken. While temperate landscapes and moody seascapes are undoubtedly his favourite subjects, he also enjoys the more intimate close up subjects, which provide a challenging change to his familiar style.

Adams enthusiasm for photography was kindled during a period of time spent travelling throughout the southern hemisphere in 1997. "There were so many beautiful places that I was desperate to show people back home".

Despite capturing many images on this trip, it has only been in the last 6 years that Adam has started taking photography seriously. During this time, he has read many articles in books and magazines, putting into practice the knowledge he has gained along the way. He has no formal training or qualifications.

MICHAEL ANDERSON LANDSCAPE & TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY

The moon is up over Tibet. Snow crunches under my feet as I wait for the sunrise to ignite the fluted ramparts of the Himalaya. I can hear the far off clanging of Yak bells and the whistle of the herders beginning their day. A Lammergeier glides effortlessly on its massive wingspan over the cloud filled canyon below.

I am alone, surrounded in the shadows of the greatest mountains on earth. The scene before me hasn't changed much over the last Millennia. I feel enriched here witnessing this spectacle. Lewis Mumford once said, "Raw experience is empty, for it is not what one does, but what one realizes that keeps existence from being vain and trivial. It is the artist who realizes human experience, who takes the raw lump of ore we find in nature, smelts it, refines it, and stamps it into coins that can pass from hand to hand and make every man who touches them the richer."

I take photographs to define my experiences, to encapsulate these moments and share the earth's most extraordinary places with my friends and all of the aspiring vagabonds and wilderness trekkers that hope to travel one day. If you've found my website and are reading this, you're probably a lot like me. You find it difficult to describe your fascination with the wonders of the earth and the cultures most connected to it. Somehow, these feelings have defined you and how you live your life. Here within these pages, you will see the places that existed in my own childhood dreams.

DI FRUSCIA PHOTOGRAPHY - FINE ART NATURE AND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

I spent most of my childhood years away from the city, having been raised mostly in the Canadian countryside. From the time of my birth, my experiences in nature was to become a large influence in affecting my ultimate passion for the beauties of the natural world.

My love for the arts has grown throughout the years, and I attribute my devotion to interpreting nature in an artistic manner to my parents' participation in the arts. My father, Joseph, was a professional photographer during a period in his life and my mother, Michele, was gifted with artistic talents such as drawing, painting, and decorating. Her fine eye for details was an big influence on my perception of nature. I was already drawing at an early age; as a teenager, I focused my creative side towards music.
One day, my employer tasked me with learning to take images of the company's products in order to save money from hiring professional photographers. At the time, I thought inwardly that this was a rather awkward request, but decided that photography could be a possible extension of my own artistic eye.

As I started reading everything I could get my hands on about photography, I realized that this was an art form that would enable me to express my inner feelings about the world around me. The job task soon became an insatiable desire to record the beauty of nature. The camera soon became the perfect medium to express my feelings.

JUZA NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY
